TOPPIK REVIEW - DOES TOPPIK WORK?

What is toppik? Does it work? And how does it hold up against CABOKI

These are some of the questions you may be asking if you're looking to buy Toppik hair concealer.

Toppik is another thinning hair concealer that was released some time after the 'leading' product in this field. I put the word leading in dashes because it could now be highly argued CABOKI is not the market leader.

If you've read my CABOKI review on this blog then you already know what it is, and if you haven't, chances are you already know what CABOKI is and how it works, so I won't go into introducing CABOKI here.

CABOKI vs Toppik

As someone who has used both of these products I can give you an honest review on the battle of which is better. (In my opinion and experience.)

Don't get me wrong. I won't sit here and tell you one of them is so much better and you need to go and buy it right now. No, they are, simply put, very similar.

Is Toppik better than CABOKI?

Well, let me talk you through Toppik as a hair concealer and how I found it performs. Toppik uses the same similar technology as CABOKI to make the hair fibres stick to your hair. So in that sense, there's really no difference.

Toppik comes in a lot of colours that actually challenge it's rival CABOKI, which is a very important factor to consider. In my opinion you're more likely to find your hair colour if you go with Toppik.

Like CABOKI, you simply shake the fibres into your hair and pat them down to make them hold better. I've found that the Toppik fibres actually stick better than the CABOKI fibres over time. For me, the CABOKI fibres have a tendency to fall out of my hair onto my forehead and it makes it really obvious.

Toppik on the other hand tend to stay in my hair all day and usually the next day too, although you should really put new fibres in everyday.

Don't get me wrong, the Toppik fibres will drop out in tiny clumps too, but only if you rub them hard enough. These are the result I've had after using both CABOKI and Toppik in conjunction with hair spray.

I think hair spray is definitely a must have for either one of these products. And for me, I use extra strong. It's important to note too that I've never had problems with Toppik and harsh weather. The fibres have done a good job of staying in my hair all day in gusty wind and rain. This is not the case with CABOKI.

CABOKI does do a good job of holding all day but not as well (for me at least).

Another important weather type to consider is sunshine. I've found that both of these products tend to go a strange shade of green if you're out in the sun long enough.

On a recent trip to Egypt I found that after lazing round the pool for a few hours in the heat it changed it's colour in my hair. It was nothing too obvious, but it will be obvious to you.

How does Toppik hold in water? Well, surprisingly well. On the same trip to Egypt I was obviously concerned what I would do when it came to getting in the water and getting my hair wet. And too be honest, it didn't really change much. If you've still go enough hair ontop and your slightly receding, the Toppik will stay in you're hair.

I can't say the same for if you have hardly any left though. I would imagine if you used a strong enough hair spray prior then it shouldn't effect it that much. So that's something important to consider about Toppik. But I give it a thumbs up when it comes to getting wet, whether it's in a pool or rain.

I have not tried CABOKI in a pool so I can't comment on that but I would hope it would be just as good.

I also like the feel of Toppik. It doesn't really feel like you've got anything in your hair. For me, it still feels soft and manageable, not rough or coarse which is what I found with CABOKI.

It gives instant coverage and fullness to your hair and it looks so natural. I was so shocked when I tried it. Obviously I had my doubts because it wasn't as well known as CABOKI at the time but I was impressed to say the least.

Is Toppik cheaper than CABOKI? Yes! I am yet to find a cheap CABOKI product in comparison to Toppik. CABOKI prices seem a little high to me, especially after I tried Toppik which is sometimes half the price! So, cheaper doesn't always means worse!

All in all I've had much better success with Toppik than CABOKI and I would highly recommend it.

Thank you for reading my Toppik review and I hope it helped.

CABOKI REVIEWS - DOES CABOKI WORK?

CABOKI REVIEWS - HAIR LOSS CONCEALER

If your reading this right now then I'm assuming you've been searching through every page on the net trying find the perfect product to conceal your thinning hair.
Well Caboki is easily at the number #1 spot in today's market for doing just that! I wanted to write this Caboki review and show some Caboki reviews to make your life more simple and cut out all the BS that we all come across these days whilst trying to find out information.
Caboki defiantly ranks high because of a few simple reasons;

  • It can be used by both men and women
  • Unlike other concealers it won't stick to skin / clothes
  • It allows the hair to look natural and not "shaken on" so to speak
  • It is made of natural fibres from plants
  • Caboki keeps hair feeling "real" and full
  • Durable
  • Easy application
  • Undetectable
  • Professional proved methods
  • Will not wash off swimming, gym etc.

You can applicate the product in the morning and it will last you a very solid 24 hour period whilst being highly undetectable.

Probably the best part of this product is, you don't need any sprays to hold it in place, you simply tap it on the thinning areas and your good to go. (Edit: I would recommend a strong hair spray after long use with this product, mainly for precaution.)

Here is just one before and after example to highlight what it can do;

Matthew K. pictured above writes; "Maybe once in a lifetime an amazing product comes along that is both affordable and attainable. Caboki is one of those products. As you can see in the before pictures, the crown of my head is mostly bald. A little bit of this stuff placed just right and NO MORE bald spot. At this very moment I am still amazed ANY product can accomplish that."

Does CABOKI work? My personal review of CABOKI:

For me personally, I was very eager to get my CABOKI in the mail. After hearing great things about it and watching those awesome videos on YouTube where  the guy shakes it on the other guys head and it gives him instant coverage.

The package arrived promptly after ordering it from Amazon.com so that was good. I was a little surprised how big the tub was but then again, for the price I paid, it was a good job it was large.

Applying CABOKI was easy, you literally unscrew the cap and then peel the seal off. Then simply shake into your hair. There's nothing difficult about it. You may get some fibres on your head but they rub off easily enough.

Then, you just have to pat your head to help the fibres stick to your hair. For me, I use hair spray too for added hold. (Always go with extra strong).

Then you're good to go and get in with your day. I would say to make sure you don't forget to screw the cap back on or the fibres will dry out and form small hard clumps in the tub, and then you can't shake them out.

And now the science;

So now your probably wondering how exactly does this product work so effectively in simple terms? well..

Every human hair has a positive electrical charge, Caboki is made from a fibre from a plant which has a negative charge. So when hair and Caboki make contact they instantly bond, and because the plant fibre is a near exact copy of hair it gives your hair a beautiful natural result. The problem with other products on the market is that they don't follow this basic understanding leaving you looking like your hair is falling off!

This diagram explains it simply;

Why It's Superior

So, as you can see your hair is instantly bombarded with thickening properties that bind with your hair leaving it looking dense and natural! And Caboki comes in all natural hair colours.

So now we have gone over how the product works exactly here are some Caboki reviews directly from the Caboki website.

Betty M. 50 "I have successfully been applying Caboki for over a year and am very happy. Caboki was recommended by a co-worker and after a few weeks, I finally ordered a free sample. It is great. Sometimes it is a bit itchy and I have learnt to spray hairspray immediately after sprinkling my thinning hair. Thank you, Caboki."

Billy S. 35 "Used Dark Brown, have been shaving my head bald for several years and decided to try to grow my hair out. All grew out except large thin bald spot on back of my head. Reluctantly tried a sample of Caboki and was completely floored! Def. A customer for life!!"

Eirik K. 26 "This is a really good product for us bald headed folks. It' won't grow your hair back, but it will take a lot of the embarrassment away.
I personally don't use this on a daily basis. I only use it on special occasions, but I'm still very happy with the product!
I can almost guarantee you won't regret trying Caboki!"

Lori T. 45 "I am very happy that I found this product. I am 49 years old and my hair started thinning over the past few years.
It really upset me because I felt self conscious. I tried another product that was like a cream called Millefolium and I hated it. I
returned it immediately. I tried the sample of Caboki and it actually lasted me about 7 weeks so it is worth every
penny. I went in the pool and I did wet my hair and it stayed on. It only comes off when I wash it. When I work
out at the gym I still see that it holds well even with sweat so it makes me comfortable to hide the thinning.
I would definitely recommend this for anyone that is self conscious. I am a stage 1-3 and it works good on me and the colour is a great match."

Micheal L. "Really it is unbelievable, I'm speechles .it works. God bless whoever invented it."
